Honda Accord 3.0 i V6 2dr - has anyone got any insights?

Hi all,
I've been looking at Accord Coupes from 1998-2001, specifically the V6 models. There seems to be very little information out there on these cars, but the package seems compelling, especially at sub-1k!
Owners seem to love them. I could accept the 25 mpg, maybe 30's on longer journeys - as the styling is just fantastic and I can't help but keep looking back at this one, might go and see it this week. Problem is my other half might kill me, but then again, it's a V6 Honda from an era of outstanding build quality, and I do trust the brand. And it is PURPLE. It just screams nineties!

If anyone has owned one of these and has any hints or advice on what to look for I'd appreciate it. May have to sacrifice my s2000 and free up some garage space and funds but the rarity and again the styling/v6/interior makes them seem a great weekend cruiser.
I'll be keeping an eye out for RUST for starters... it is coming up to 22 years old after all!

Thanks guys, really helpful. Yes, the purple is a big appeal for me I must admit. I have a green s2000 - this lime colour was also an NSX option, but insanely rare. I really would like this car - now to justify it to SWMBO! ;D.
