TVRCC event - anyone on here going (105db)?

Was great fun last time, and the car club events are normally very well run and not over subscribed.

Only need the weather...;)

Looking forward to joining you there - as long as the Griff survives the Goodwood sprint this coming Saturday - it transpires we get two laps from a standing start, so plenty of opportunity for both car and driver to get hot and bothered!

Cheers

Hi Adrian,
Will you be at Harewood on the 28th August?

Well, I promptly fired off an application, but only managed to achieve the heady heights of 26th reserve.... which reads like a "thanks, but no thanks" to me!

Disappointing, but London, Oulton, Harewood, London would have made a particularly challenging itinerary!

Cheers

Adrian

We're booked in & looking forward to it, i've only done Oulton once before, about 4 years ago, but it was superb fun, for me, a good cross between Donington & Cadwell. Lets just pray for the sunshine

You'll be OK, we've had all our year's rain. All on Castle Combe last Friday.

I've always used a standard motorcycle helmet, could'nt even tell you what rating it is, no one has ever checked it on a track day, just make sure it's MSA Approved,

Great circuit - probably one of the best in the UK.

Is this a usual TVRCC "sessions" day or open pit-lane ?

See you all there. Think I will keep my quiet exhaust on just to be on the safe side.

Alistair,
I assume your car is fit and well again? So, was it pricey?
Look forward to seeing you.

I think I managed to leave my girlfriend at home, helps with power-to-weight ratio

You are now down to 25th reserve, I called off today. Trying to rebuild my car after hillclimb "incident".
Had a great time time there last 2 years on TVR club event.
Hope I'll be back next year!

25 reserves ? That's excellent How many cars are actually confirmed & how many sessions ? Are they graded by experience, power or just randomly ?

Oulton is one of the drivers' favourites in the UK. Great place. You'll all have a mega time. Wish I was going. Don't forget driving licences though. Being a MSV venue, they're hot on that.

I'll be there in the trusty S.

It supprised a few people at Oulton two years ago and seemed at home on this chalenging circuit!

I'll be taking the camera so if anyone wants to play 'i'll take some of yours if you take some of mine' let me know.

See you all there.
