Not strictly a track day, but I had a go of the small auto test style course they had at a car show I went to at the weekend. Set the 5th fastest time on my second run and the 3rd fastest on my 3rd

I think I was in that track day with you. Was instructing in the 997 GT3 and playing about in an Aston DB9. I'm sure I saw you exit stage left at Paddock?

Yes, I visited the kitty litter and kissed the tyre wall at Paddock Hill Bend! Bizarrely, I was on a cooling down lap. I think it was just so wet and greasy off the line.

Got away with a scratch to the rear wing. After 15 years of track days, this was my first time in the gravel.

Were your tyres a bit low on tread? They look a bit low which might not have helped with the gravel trip.

Glad the car survived.

You could be right. They are legal, but over 50% worn. Time for some new rubber.

It always seemed to be VERY wet when I did any laps! This car was on the limit most of the time and loved to be driven!

Most amazing static shot (thanks to PH Sunday Service meet) was this ;-) lol
