How come he is still the only director listed for "Easytrack Limited" then?

If that's what it is then it would be very poor form for Oulton to say this on FB

For those due to attend the Easytrack day on Wednesday at Oulton Park, and who haven't already been contacted by the organisers, MSV understands that as of Thursday 11 April 2013, Easytrack has ceased to trade. Therefore regrettably all future events booked by Easytrack on MSV circuits have been cancelled. For more information please contact Easytrack directly on 01223 969 996.

...and me. Not hard to do.
EZT was given a hard time when MSV moved into TDs a few years back, as were several other TDOs.
Not many of the originals left. Which is a shame.

I do hope msv don't push more out of business. I did a day at bedford last month and it was combined with "experience" day events as well. So suddenly we had m3s and Ferraris diving up the inside into corners. And then a Ferrari collected an mx5....

Do they do that at all circuits?

I've done so many days with them. Really hope they don't let the customers down, whatever the outcome. Lets hope it's an MSV problem, and we're all booked in for Anglesey!

Ps, the Ferrari that's eats mx5's at BA belongs to one young mr abromovich. I imagine its not something that happens often, but money talks

EZT had an issue with Silverstone a few years ago. Track day was cancelled due to poor weather, Silverstone offered new day same weekend following year. EZT accepted but according to EZT they were then charged an additional £20k because it fell on the last day of Nov rather than 1st day of Dec. Track day was cancelled by EZY as a result.

Not easy being a TDO...

I'm also meant to be doing Bedford on 27 April, but I haven't had an email yet. I also note that the company's registered office has changed to a firm of accountants in Oxfordshire. And yet, I am for some reason hopeful that my booking will be honoured and the TD will go ahead...

I believe thet some good news is on the horizon.
I've had some helpful communication from ET and understand that the situation has been resolved, including keeping most of the current diary and adding some new, so keep your fingers crossed!

I have some interest in this as well, being a Pack Member and booked in to Bedford on the 27th April. Just had an email from Easytrack, seems to be good news as it stands now-

Quote-

Yes the old owner suddenly decided to retire and walked off late last week. The rest of the team found out the hard way. There was a situation with MSV (circuit owner) associated to the departing chap but that seems sorted.

We've been working hard to catch the fallout and fortunately as of yesterday, I have a new boss.

All bookings/packs/credits etc will be transferred and honoured - the new car diary isn't a lot different with some new dates/circuit in fact. The 27th is going ahead, we had that confirmed this morning.
You will get a separate email confirming all this, with a list of dates later this week.

Kind regards

Peter

I posted this on here earlier today, but it was taken down, I don't think Pistonheads believed me.

Believe it now do they ????

I was trying to warn you guys that had money tied up in Easytrack. Oh well, never mind.
Perhaps it was because it's never good to speculate with too much in the way of facts?

Crap - I've already asked for my money back (hasn't been returned yet), looks like I'm going to have to send a rather sheepish email now saying, "Please DON'T return my money! See you on the 27th!"

Eating Humble Pie then. You'll surely enjoy the trackday better than money in the Bank.

Well indeed.

The money in the bank and the trackday would be the ideal result! biggrin

Somehow I don't think that will be a problem. I doubt the money is in any sort of envelope yet ready to post.
