Sounds like a fall out with MSV to me.
If that's what it is then it would be very poor form for Oulton to say this on FBFor those due to attend the Easytrack day on Wednesday at Oulton Park, and who haven't already been contacted by the organisers, MSV understands that as of Thursday 11 April 2013, Easytrack has ceased to trade. Therefore regrettably all future events booked by Easytrack on MSV circuits have been cancelled. For more information please contact Easytrack directly on 01223 969 996.
I've done so many days with them. Really hope they don't let the customers down, whatever the outcome. Lets hope it's an MSV problem, and we're all booked in for Anglesey!
Ps, the Ferrari that's eats mx5's at BA belongs to one young mr abromovich. I imagine its not something that happens often, but money talks

EZT had an issue with Silverstone a few years ago. Track day was cancelled due to poor weather, Silverstone offered new day same weekend following year. EZT accepted but according to EZT they were then charged an additional £20k because it fell on the last day of Nov rather than 1st day of Dec. Track day was cancelled by EZY as a result.

I have some interest in this as well, being a Pack Member and booked in to Bedford on the 27th April. Just had an email from Easytrack, seems to be good news as it stands now-

Yes the old owner suddenly decided to retire and walked off late last week. The rest of the team found out the hard way. There was a situation with MSV (circuit owner) associated to the departing chap but that seems sorted.
We've been working hard to catch the fallout and fortunately as of yesterday, I have a new boss.
All bookings/packs/credits etc will be transferred and honoured - the new car diary isn't a lot different with some new dates/circuit in fact. The 27th is going ahead, we had that confirmed this morning.
You will get a separate email confirming all this, with a list of dates later this week.
Kind regards
Peter

I posted this on here earlier today, but it was taken down, I don't think Pistonheads believed me.
Believe it now do they ????
I was trying to warn you guys that had money tied up in Easytrack. Oh well, never mind.
Perhaps it was because it's never good to speculate with too much in the way of facts?Believe it now do they ????

Crap - I've already asked for my money back (hasn't been returned yet), looks like I'm going to have to send a rather sheepish email now saying, "Please DON'T return my money! See you on the 27th!"
Eating Humble Pie then. You'll surely enjoy the trackday better than money in the Bank.Mitch2.0 said:

Somehow I don't think that will be a problem. I doubt the money is in any sort of envelope yet ready to post.Gassing Station | Track Days | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
