The whole attitude of so many seems to hark back to the loud and raucous voices I used to hear on ferries heading for France in the 50s - men with cravats and black Rovers and GB plates holding forth about France and the French and how those bloody little 2CVs should be banned from the roads.

I reckon that Bounder hit the nail on the head when he talked about "bar room bullshit".

Get a life guys (chaps) - get out on the track and race rather than get all puffed up and stroppy about little oiks like Bounder.

Anyone ever do a check on whether the cars alleged to be owned by these wazzocks really exist?

I think I will herby resign from Pistonheads - it is over filled with little men with dreams of adequacy.

All but one or two of the posters on this thread are well known contributors who have attended numerous events with their "alleged" cars.

Err, well Harrumph if you are referring to me then yep, my cars exist. As to getting out on the race track, well come along to watch my car, with me in it, doing just that at Silverstone on April 10 in the Radical Enduros.
