Eh, Felix's reply has just vanished? It looks fantastic in red...

Hello,
about the colour - not everyone's favourite. Unfortunately, I really liked it, so the prototype didn't really have a chance of ending up in a more "exciting" colour...
However, how about it in red:
(Tried four times to get the pic embedded in the text, but it appears that I am too thick).
Joust - we will be attending several trackdays this year. Let me know if you want to be informed. Also do very good value test deals (see website - hope this is not rated as advertising !?)
egomeister - see fourth paragraph (in brackets) from top...Glad you like it - thank you.
I'm always happy to answer anyone's query. Thank you.
Best regards,
Felix Feuerbach.

Red certainly helps the front in my eyes. Not sure about the very straight angles at the rear. Not quite sure what's going on around the rear of the front wheel arch either - very strange lines!
However, I think I may have found the reason it looks "kitty".
Chatting to the other half, we seem to have come to the same conclusion, namely that the "kit" look comes from the fact of having the drivers cockpit a good 6" inboard of the sides. We felt the same about the Ultima on Sunday and were chatting about it on the drive with it behind.
Now this is quite weird because of course many famous racing cars have the same format and they don't look "kitty" (and I don't mean a cat!). It's quite strange now having worked out what the issue is.
Oh - I personally think blue would be the best colour for it

Felix,
Great meeting you at the Autosport show - but a word of advice:
DON'T paint it blue!!! We made that - er - 'mistake' on our show car and took a lot of criticism for it . The blue we used was actually darker than it shows up in photo's.
We also avoided red because it would have looked like just another 'red' sportscar... Ah well, some you win, etc...
Good luck with the venture and see you around some tracks soon (hopefully in our mirrors... )

Hi Steve,
nice meeting you too !
Personally, I didn't think the blue was bad at all. Colours' always a difficult one. But being German you are expected to be boring so that was easy.
Definately agree that there's too many red and yellow sportscars (prototypes especially) about.
Wish you all the best for yourselves, too - thank you. If there's anything you think we can help you with let me know.
Ahh - Good luck with the mirror bit... In your pics, it doesn't look like you have any currently, anyway (hehe).
Speak to you soon,
Regards Felix.

Mirrors add too much weight!
I think we may have to produce a red car - apparently they go about 5% faster than ones that aren't red...
It's gonna be fun on the tracks this year - as long as those pesky SR3's don't get in our way, eh Felix?!
