Nurburgring Track Days
Discussion
Just booked our annual pilgrimage for Easter Weekend 2011. Its a bit dicey at times on TF but at the same time I still think it works out much cheaper than any of the organised days that I have looked at and I do love staying at the Pistenlkaus.
That said I don't lap all day like some people. 5 or 6 driving laps and as many if not more passanger laps in a day is enough for me.
I get the fear everytime I am sat in the queue at the barriers just because of the associated risks involved. Whilst I think there would be less risk from traffic on an organised day I also think I would be attacking at bit more if I knew I had a clear track and that brings its own risks.
As long as they keep the TF days I think I will be happy going forward but some of the traffic certainly keeps you on your toes.
