Cracking day out!
i had my own drama, when the snap ring of the drive shaft decided to fail. Had to get the car recovered from the motorway to the track where it was fixed up!
Missed most of the morning but had a time in the afternoon. Need a new set of boots.
Nice to meet you Jack, shame i couldnt get round to having a passenger ride.
Maybe next time?

Ah...now I see why I didn't see you out on track until the afternoon. I thought I'd found you first thing to see hello but it was the owner of the black old style civic that I'd mistaken for your Integra i had my own drama, when the snap ring of the drive shaft decided to fail. I'll be there in the Rover engined Tuscan.
I've got loads of footage of your red Tuscan when I was following you for a few laps. Just checked your profile jackwood and i see you had that tasty GT3 that was keeping me honest for a few laps .
It's great when you can get into a rhythm with another car , no drama's just some good driving, makes the day even better.
Can't wait till 29th May.
Where do you post your footage btw ? i wouldnt mind seeing how my car is siiting though the corners.
My little spin at Cascades just before lunch

Yes, it was a nice rhythm with a bit of give and take. You were faster in some sections and I made up time in others.Just checked your profile jackwood and i see you had that tasty GT3 that was keeping me honest for a few laps .

I'll upload a couple of laps to the same YouTube account I used above.

Phew! That was closer than how you described it to me at the track. My 964 moves about a lot there too but I'm already feeding the throttle in at that point, whereas it sounds like you're on neutral throttle which probably meant that there was too much weight on the nose with the consequence that the rear came round. I might talking rubbish though when trying to compare a 250 bhp 964 to a near 400 bhp GT3. Hopefully an experienced GT3 driver will chime in with some advice.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7h51EqCQy28

If you post any vid of the Alfa shopping trolley................ Try and make it look quick!
We're not on Jack's sort of pace but here's a couple of laps of our trio of brightly coloured 964s:

I enjoyed watching those. Always interesting to see how different types of car cope with the same circuit. worn tyres and limted rev use as the exshaut and injectors arent engine to get the most out of the engine.

Some nice driving! Strange how quick it went wrong, maybe neutral throttle upsetting weight balance as suggested earlier!http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7h51EqCQy28

Surprised there was not one swear word uttered, bet the old ring piece flexed a fair bit as you went in backwards!
Had my biggest of to date at Oulton but just love the place!
Why is the footage so dark?

Great laps Imi (excuse my complete guess at spelling your name ) That's a good time, and that car looks like its got huge amounts of grip. Lovely set-up.
Thanks you Jack. Almost its Imy. The setup and engine is FAR from complete but the people who look after my car have dialed the car to get the best from tyres, suspension, engine etc.. most of the high end work they do is on Porshce cars.
I need a new set of boots as mine are bold. lol
Shame i never got a passenger ride in your GT3, i will (one) own a GT3 my dream car!!!!!

usually the light sensors in the camera. i used to run a ebay special camera which was just about "o.k" on a sunny days but crap in pretty much all conditions.I recently purcahsed a full DVR Dog Cam kit from Dog Cam Motorspot much better than what ive ran before. 60 frames a second ensures the smoothest picture.
