At one point he overtook me (luckily I pulled over to the right on a right corner exit), and then proceeded to weave, overtaking the next car on the right, and the car after that on the left, all in very quick succession and not in control.
At any track days I've done that would have been an instant ticket home.MJK 24 said:

That driving is so bad its hard not to assume its a set up!!! Unbelievable!
The parody video would run to 37 pages on SELOC!http://sniffpetrol.com/2014/10/14/gt-r-cheat-codes...

A mate of mine spotted this too.http://sniffpetrol.com/2014/10/14/gt-r-cheat-codes...
Bedford GTR guy definitely had those "upgrades"!

Down the straights, two hands on the wheel.
Around the corners, one had on the wheel!!
I suspect he spends too much time on his XBox! His mates always take him on the straights, concentration required to fend them off.Around the corners, one had on the wheel!!
On the bends he can pick up his kebab for a good munch

Just specs really.
Is engine a straight fit
How does it compare to a standard lotus engine.
V6 or turbo
I saw on one of them external cut off switch I think, surely not standard.
Both cars have mildly modified 1.8t (20v) engines in running GT 30 turbos ...Is engine a straight fit

slightly heavier than the oem motor of course once you add the turbo/chargecooling system etc.- however both make around 380ftlb of torques and over 400 bhp..
we were running minimum boost levels at Bedford due to noise restrictions and a lack of grip in the morning- they are pretty unforgiving in the wet!
Both cars have been ultra reliable too- I built my one in 2007 and have done many track days and road miles with only a few minor snags.
Fitment is fiddly due to a lack of space but there is no cutting required to squeeze it in.
there are a few companies out there fitting them in nowadays including PSR automotive and Autotecnix.
Actually considering selling my one soon (N300TT)due to ill health .... would be sad to see it go as I have owned it for nearly 12 years now...

Amazing behaviour. I'd hope a discussion has been had at ATDO level with regard to this driver. Better off covering this stuff off before he gets to another TD.
Be interesting to see what happens if he did have an instructor in with him. Won't reflect well on MSVT I wouldn't think.
Not aware of any complaints having been received by ATDO. Without a complaint nothing can happen.Be interesting to see what happens if he did have an instructor in with him. Won't reflect well on MSVT I wouldn't think.

Always happy to give a PAX, next time come say hello!
I was going to try to cadge a PAX, but sadly the puncture stopped play.
Seriously considering giving the GT circuit a crack on the 10th November now........
Here ya go boys and girls skip to page four and it has a full low down from the maclaren owner

Well that thread certainly makes for interesting reading.
The excuse that the guy was a newbie is just insane, this was my first full-on track day too so I was very careful to keep my nose clean and give other cars space.
Would explain a lot if, as claimed on the other thread, there was one guy in charge of two events which were running simultaneously. There were plenty of cars driving outside the rules repeatedly on the SEN event which didn't get excluded.
