What has happened to the wet weather training facility? I went there some years ago for wet weather training. We were told it cost £1.5m to build.

As a spectator (TV) this had to be one of the most boring circuits and there are a few.
Its actually a fun track to drive the banking takes some bottle to go flat in anything moderately quick the infield has a nice flow to it with some good section plus in the wet its hilariously slippy so makes for some good sideways fun on track days.

It is still there. You can see the cars parked on the tiles towards the end of the video in on of the vertically down shots.

As a spectator being at the track it was pretty good as if you were in the main stand you could see 80% of the track action all the time. Had a suite there a couple of times with my club and was always a great day out. The wind did always seem to be strong though!

You could also get above the pits as a general spectator which was an interesting place to watch from.

Sadly missed - it was a pretty good track with plenty of overtaking opportunities on track days

I only ever did one track day there, which was with Mission Motorsport and happened to be the last ever.

Great in the dry, but was like driving on ice in the wet.
