Nürburgring in December?

DONT get yourself too worked up as a relaxed frame of mind is far better. We have had people come here totally wound up who have booked several laps but been so tense they could not do more than one lap.So, think of it as a drive in the country where you know nothing will be coming the other way, hopefully.lol

Haha, thanks for the words of encouragement Terence! I hopefully will be too much in awe of the place and trying to keep out of everyone's way to get tensed up too much, but any hints and tips people can offer I am taking onboard so I can be as safe for not just myself but the other, much faster drivers.SpeedyDave said:
SlowStig, I'll probably be there, you're welcome to jump in if you'd like to get some sighting laps before you drive.

Hi Dave, That would be ace if possible. Are you there both days or just the one? I will be in a Red JCW Clubman hopefully.Blue E36 Compact on Dutch plates.

Probably both days. I tend to decide on Saturday morning and arrive sometime before lunch.
Regarding lap tickets, people are often selling on laps they can't use at a heavy discount at this time of year as they expire Dec 31. Naturally I'd be wary of buying from unknown people over the internet but there might be some available locally that can be checked before purchase. Going rate can be as low as 10 EUR / lap at this late in the year.

Would they be sideways sighting laps?? LOL
Side window glass works perfectly well Always happy to do some 'Royal' laps though, quite pleasant just coasting around sometimes. Discovered a new activity to amuse myself with - was standing around spectating at Brunnchen one day lamenting not having a suitable car for the day, got a bit cold so sat in the car. Then it occurred to me there was a place with a better view for spectating.
On track.
Interactive Spectating. Its funny the stuff you see when you bimble slowly around.
