A good recipe is vacation + rainy day.
Unless blogging has become a compulsive hobby and you have posters of Bovingdon, Meaden, Barker and Metcalfe on your bedroom walls.

Technology helps. If circumstances made you a lonesome trackday pilgrim, you end up with plenty of spare time and a digital pen allows you to capture your ramblings on paper about anywhere without looking like a geek.
