I posted this on here earlier today, but it was taken down, I don't think Pistonheads believed me.
Believe it now do they ????
I was trying to warn you guys that had money tied up in Easytrack. Oh well, never mind.
I was doing the same as you, letting people know as soon as, so they may have a chance of getting their money back.Believe it now do they ????

However unlikely.

Sounds like a fall out with MSV to me.
If that's what it is then it would be very poor form for Oulton to say this on FBFor those due to attend the Easytrack day on Wednesday at Oulton Park, and who haven't already been contacted by the organisers, MSV understands that as of Thursday 11 April 2013, Easytrack has ceased to trade. Therefore regrettably all future events booked by Easytrack on MSV circuits have been cancelled. For more information please contact Easytrack directly on 01223 969 996.
Christ there's a lot of lurkers on this thread, not a bad thing!
I had no idea the thread would turn out like this when I started it, it was more of a heads up really but it has made very interesting reading.
I got the impression when dealing with Jo not so long ago when I had to cancel my track day that things weren't as they seemed, fair enough they wouldn't give me a full refund and would only give me credit for another track day, when pushed though they wouldn't issue anything official in writing or a voucher and she was actually quite dismissive when pushed.
I gave up in the end and unfortunately will not see and of my £155 again, I feel sorry for the multi day buyers that have lost a more significant amount.

I really dont get the "noise" thing. 98, 105, whatever, competition cars are much noisier than they need to be and bad news for the poor sods who drive them.
Any driver who values his/her hearing will wear, what is in-effect industrial ear protection, otherwise its ringing in the ears and an old age of deafness, for what?
I remember going to an F1 race and i could not believe the noise, it was totally outrageous.
I think the residents have a point and the point is there is no real need to generate all the racket.....
