Super newbie query! (MSVT Drift Day)
Discussion
Hi guys,
I've just got myself an mx5 with an lsd, coilies etc. For my birthday the parents are planning to book me an MSVT drift day on the oulton park drift track.
I have a few real newbie questions that i couldn't find definitive answers on:
1 - I presume a helmet is needed, with it not being a high speed track day i wasn't too sure if i will need one.
2 - Is there a noise limit on the drift track, i believe its 105db running an 95db drive past for regular events so does this apply to the drift days?
3 - Any one had a go? What were your thoughts?
Any help appreciated on this.
Alex

I've done four, all at Oulton Park, I'm there again on the tenth of October (say hello if you are there- red rx8).
Very easy to slide in, low friction tarmac so no load or whatever wear on the car at all, just avoid the divets just off the track if you can.
