£800 a week for part time telesales? Are you sure?
Sorry the figure of £800 is based on a 35 hour week smile
Ah! That's altogether more sensible then. smile

Tell them there's a maximum number they can purchase until they are approved. That's what it said in the film.

Fair enough.

You have 693 prospects / suspects.

Some of these will be pissed-off enough with you to be contemplating physical violence. Enjoy! smile

In fairness, aren't previous customers better than trying to recruit new ones?

I did telesales once, walked out after 3 hours, cannot imagine a worse job. People were rude, kept hanging up on me and it was about as boring as watching paint dry.

These days all I get is telesales people ringing my business, they get put on hold for 30 mins or have the phone put down on them, it i want their services i shall ring them thank you very much.
Instead of politely telling them you're not interested? or that you're busy?

I'm sure there are more polite and considerate ways to get your point across - especially since for a limited time you experienced what it's like.
That's exactly what I do. Put the phone down after I tell them I'm not interested and they carry on asking questions. What can you do?

The TPS register is useless these days

that would depend on the reason why they became "previous" and weren't current.

We always to give the new boys all the dross.

It's a right of passage
