Good luck. Hope they let you off with a warning. Do let us know how it goes.
Thank you. Some are quite harsh on here and I am sure you have kicked yourself enough without help from us putting the boot in.
You've been a chump and you will be lucky to get no more than a massive bking and a letter to tell you that but whilst I can't believe you made the same mistake twice I can understand how easy it was to do it!
Social Media is a bloody minefield and I know that I am not alone in avoiding it for the very reasons you find yourself in the position you do.

Guys,
Regarding Twitter.
If you post a PUBLIC tweet from Twitter. YOU WILL NEVER BE ABLE TO DELETE IT.
There are sites that data mine Twitter and more than likely any public post you put on the web will be committed to their databases.
Just bear that in mind, I've seen people post comments before, realise they should take them down only for a Google of the text string to reveal it occurring on 3 other sites.

In the words of Sir Alan, "You're fired".
Either that or phone in sick now telling them you're going to see your G.P. as the pressure you've been under has made you sick. You really have not been able to sleep and think it could be stress. Make life a bit more interesting for the H.R. Dep't.

Obviously the moment that you used your employers name on Twitter, it's easy enough for them to search for.
Don't do what a lot of my facebook contacts do and complain about their jobs constantly. These are the ones that were lazy at school. Not thick but they didn't want to put the effort in.
Now a lot of them work at schools as dinner ladies, which I assume is minimum wage. A lot more don't work and complain unless the sun is shining or they've been given a 4 bedroom house off the council!
Apologise, and if you're not happy then get a job that you are happy with. BTW, the grass isn't always greener elsewhere.
Good luck.

Why is it I see so much of this on facebook... its stupid!!Don't do what a lot of my facebook contacts do and complain about their jobs constantly. These are the ones that were lazy at school. Not thick but they didn't want to put the effort in.

If me and my mates have an issue like this we do it the good old fashioned way... go to the pub and have a drink and a rant!!!
Have no need to tell FB people about what I do and dont like at work, if I need to talk or rant about it I have enough people to do that to...
Good luck OP and do keep us posted and if you do get a slap on the wrist I think you should post the reply here and then ban yourself from the laptop unitl you learn what common sense is.
Thanks for the messages of support guys, it means a lot. I realise I was stupid, and am off to face the music nice. It's ironic that I have received more messages of support from the total strangers on here, than I have from my work friends... Sorry colleagues. Will post outcome later.
