There is a guy posting in the local facebook sale group about Forever Living. Makes my skin crawl every time I see the whole bullcrap american driven tosh. Sadly it seems designed to prey on the vulnerable.
OTE of 60k a month......pfft
One thing they always emphasise is how it all depends on putting in plenty of hard work (so that when it goes wrong, it's because you didn't work hard enough). But people are usually happy to put in plenty of work, what they are not so happy to do is to pester their friends, relatives, acquaintances and work colleagues into purchasing stuff at prices that could never be achieved in shops, and into joining the organisation.OTE of 60k a month......pfft
Just looked in my local facebook job page..... Sadly each post was a different OP (urls removed)

Found this thread after a woman tried to recruit my wife to sell Forever Living Products.
I've done my research and this stuff is overpriced tat that you can buy from Holland & Barratt for much less.
The woman said she doesn't get bonus for recruiting others, what she didn't mention is she gets a percentage of the sales that everyone 5 levels below her sells, which in itself is basically a bonus for signing others up.
Nobody in their right mind takes a successful business and then dilutes it's own customer base with increased competition in the same geographic area. It's pyramid selling under another name, and when the friends and family are fed up of buying there is no business without getting other mugs to do the same.
Avoid like the plague. It's unethical brainwashing at best.

Is that what this thread was about? Friend on Facebook is posting constantly about it. Only have her in there still as she is hot...I've done my research and this stuff is overpriced tat that you can buy from Holland & Barratt for much less.

Yes, the woman I'm talking about has become obsessed by it and mentions it every five minutes on facebook. It's all amazing and she's doing so well, so well in fact she needs to recruit more people in the same 3 square miles to fulfil all the orders.Either that or she doesn't get all the commission unless she gets enough mugs working under her.
You have to question the pricing of the products when each one can sustain a percentage of profits for 6 levels of managers above each salesperson, not to mention the parent company.
In summary:- overpriced rubbish for simple naive people to buy and try to sell.

I have one that features on my FB newsfeed on a daily basis, posting the most cringe-worthy pics and videos about how amazing her new business venture is, so much so that everybody she meets and knows through said venture are now her best friends who inspire her bla bla bla bla...Either that or she doesn't get all the commission unless she gets enough mugs working under her.

Constantly going on about the "free" cars that are dished out as a reward for being such successful entrepreneurs (too thick to think about how much money they've given to and made for this wonderful and charitable brand).

My wife is stuck at home with our 2 year old twins and wants to earn some pin money, she has seen surveys online that award points which you can redeem, however to me you have to be constanly at it to earn not alot.
Is there anything out there that she could earn say £20-30 a day for a little time from home...
Taking her kit off is not an option!
She doesn't have to take her kit off. And going by this thread there will be loads of hand cream going spare Is there anything out there that she could earn say £20-30 a day for a little time from home...

I know a guy who's fallen into this trap, too.Either that or she doesn't get all the commission unless she gets enough mugs working under her.

I would honestly not have expected it of him; he's a bright bloke, had a good senior management career, MBA and an engineering degree, definitely not one of those people you'd class as just academically clever but without common sense.
At first I thought he'd perhaps stumbled into it when between jobs or something, but he's been at it for years now. I can't see him making much out of it but I do wonder if it's now a personal challenge to him to actually make it to the level of automatic income these schemes seem to reckon is the norm?
Although, it could just be early onset dementia, or similar, I suppose...

I would focus on your local market place and supplying something to very local people. Make a twitter and instagram account and hashtag the sh*t out of local tags. Is there anything out there that she could earn say £20-30 a day for a little time from home...

Get her baking cakes in the kitchen for kids birthdays etc. If the aim is to keep her busy and make £30 a day she wouldn't need much business. Low start up costs too.
If cakes isn't her thing what about making candles? Or, buying old furniture on ebay and upcyling it? My mrs has just started "upcycling" and loves it. She doesn't sell it but similar things seem to fetch a bit of cash on ebay.
- AFAIK upcycling is sanding everything down to its bare bones and caking the bloody thing in farrow and ball paint.

Apparently I left my misses unattended on the Internet a while back and she's signed herself up to some MLM scheme (none of the ones mentioned on this thread).
She's an intelligent girl with a business degree but keeps telling me "this one's different"!!
Ultimately, if being a salesman for their products was so profitable, surely they'd employ people to sell for them.
She has no reasoned come back on that point and gets all huffy.
Apparently it'll be different and I'll understand when I read more about it. We'll see!
Now, where have I put those magic beans

Any normal business person would want to eliminate competition whereas Forever Living actually encourage it!
It's a pyramid scheme in a dress, the people at the top earn the most and the underlings earn very little until they've built their pyramid. It's not a business, it's a recruitment scheme.

All the FLbots get told what to say and what to post. All inspirational quote crap and pictures of their "office" which is their laptop in a garden.
Strangely there are no pictures of them hounding every single person they know to either buy the overpriced tat or join the pyramid scheme.
