Where do I find graduates who want a job?
Discussion
May be able to help! Depending on the kind of business and the location there is funding available for apprenticeship schemes which can generate some great people including graduates. If you let me know where you are and your industry I'll see if we can help.
Fell free to PM me if you prefer.

I guess you've calculated that you'll earn more than £50k more than you would without a degree over your lifetime? Bargain indeed.
well i haven't finished the masters yet as am doing it PT, but i suspect ill earn back the outlay in a year or two as soon as i move job.. DCS01 said:
What is wrong with older people, who have lots of life experiance and can relate to those they are talking to on the phone. Why do 'all' employers want graduates only ???
Rant over.
Or younger people willing to learn and be employed? So many jobs these days will only consider graduates, even though the degree they have is nothing to do with the role whatsoever!! plus the fact 90% of students only go to uni to avoid going to work in the real world so they could doss for another few years anyway.Rant over.
We had a hard time in work a while back finding someone to replace my role when i transitioned into another. Job would have been perfect for a graduate. We posted with agencies, who were nothing short of useless (e.g. sending us waiters with no technical discipline at all). Even posted in my old uni department, nothing.
