There are a flurry of jobs that are perfect for me, and I have been waiting a while, but now I am rapidly running out of reasons to get to the interview.

At the moment I am not allowed off at the same time as another one of five people, and it is holiday season. I could get a few hours here and there, but I have to have good reasons.
The boss recently decided he must have proof if there is a doctor’s appointment, and they are working two weeks in advantage, so difficult to get an appointment at the right time and cancel it, as they usually want to see you asap.

Again I could try this with the dentist, but don’t have a dentist set up, probably my current last option at the moment.

I have been asking for evening interviews, but I know I have missed out on one already because I was not flexible enough on the timings.

I don’t want to take a sickie, but have already had to do this once to get to the interview. I am up for second, but just can’t keep doing this. It is not fair on my other colleagues and not really fair on my current company as well.

So What other ways are there to get to interview?

p.s. There are another potentially two jobs which I will be getting interviews for.

my boss or the new companies?

My mate suggested last night that as I had the names of the managers from the companies I should give them a ring directly and explain. It shows I am keen. So I am ringing them today.
