Don't know if anyone on here has ever sat one of these, not sure exactly what they're called but they really bug me for some reason. I've sat them at Triumph and Walkers for technical roles over the years. Guaranteed to strike fear into me as soon as I turn the paper over..

They normaly consist of 4 'lights' (logic on/off) at the start and 'lights' at the end to signal logic on/off with a series of logic gates in between (such as OR, AND, NOT). From the input signal to the output signal, you have to determine which gate is not working.

Never managed to find any outside of a test room to try, anyone?

I've done these with Triumph. I actually liked the test paperbag
I managed a few questions before I gave up, sweaty and frustrated. I ended up writing down in 1s and 0s each path and still confused myself - kind of embarassing as I'm not bad with PLCs (S7). Got offered a job but accepted elsewhere.

Can you recall the name of the test or have you seen any test practices? It's only to exorcise an old ghost so to speak, I won't be taking any more (I hope).
