How do you spot a good sales opportunity when searching through vacancies? With all these companies offering lucrative OTE yet describing very little about what they are trading in, without applying for all of them, what is the best way to sort the wheat from the chaff so to speak?

What I was alluding to was the fact that a lot of these companies offer £xxxxxx OTE but then how on earth do you know whether its realistically achievable? Do you just apply for them and then find out at interview whether or not it is for you? Most of these ads don't say anything about what the role undertakes.
