Havent got a clue where to start......

Like alot of people at the moment I have been made redundent and need to start the search for a new position.

With out boring you to death with my life history I work in sales. Ive spent most of my working life in the motor trade. My last position involved the day to day running of a small business. In an ideal world I would like to venture into another industry but I appreciate its a difficult time.

Can anyone point me in the right direction? Ive done the normal trudge through the internet job sites.

Unfortunately my deal consisted of 3 weeks notice and 3 weeks redundency pay for the 3 1/2 years Ive been employed. I went into work on Monday morning and an hour later I was on my way home that was the first I know about it so it wasn't much of a deal.
