Hi all,

On behalf of my step dad.

He was called into work this morning and, spoek to by 3 senior people and told he was being suspended on full pay due to an issue with an email.

He forwarded on an email to some colleagues and someone outside of the company. This email was the "can you spot the duck" one doing the roudns which has a duck, cicrcled in the background and a pair of boobs in the foreground. Pretty stupid I agree.

This email was sent to him from another work colleague within the same company as him and, as have millions more. Its an ongoing thing there and is rife amongst all the staff, always has been.

What to do? Suggestions?

Although he's broken the rules it does seem awfully petty. I can't help but think that this is being used as an excuse because of something else? Maybe a boss has it in for him etc?

The email was sent to someone who's part of what could be considered a competitor company which might be why it was flagged up on whatever monitoring system they use. Rambling now...

It was the duck/boobs email. He doesn't recall signing that policy but no doubt did, he's goingbto check on that.
