Avg payrise this year?

Got a call from the boss today. 2% payrise this year. Inflation is 4.4%.

I also got a mail from HR - Healthcare scheme price is increasing by 19.2%.

WTF?

It hit home as the health care had gone up by 19.2% and the pay rise was 2%.

My example of the rise in private healthcare costs is just the start. Tot up fuel, bills, food etc.....
