have you checked whether a seasucker attaches ok to carbon fibre?
I have one and I've had a full suspension MTB on it on the roof of my previous daily (RSQ3)
the metal roof flexed a surprising amount - but it was secure - surely thats the solution for the M4 ?
Or fly to Northern Ireland, buy the JKC M3 with sunroof and silverstone leather and carbon brakes
I have heard they are good but I would just worry about it all the time and I want to put 2/3 up there sometimes so the rack would be better, it gives me more options.I have one and I've had a full suspension MTB on it on the roof of my previous daily (RSQ3)

the JKC car is nice but I can get close to that price for my configured factory order.
I have also just found out that you can now get San Marino Blue at £850 the same price as Tanzanite and that used to be mega bucks as a special order. hhhmmmm, decisions!

Ouch. That hurts! San Marino Blue was my first choice for my 440i (delivered in December) but I just couldn't swallow the cost, around £2500 as I recall. So I went with Tanzanite, which is lovely. But still, San Marino Blue for the same price. That's a no brainer.
Hopefully its only on M3/M4 as then you won't ever think about it. 440i in tanzanite sounds lovely.San Marino Blue is totally stunning.
This is one I completed detailing last week.

Yes, as above, they’ll be a little bit more used than a pre-reg but a good price still.
I’m toying with moving mine on at the moment - I’ve only done 6 miles in it since Christmas - so quite interested in the pricing.
Low miles mean nothing to a dealer, be prepared to be arse raped on price.I’m toying with moving mine on at the moment - I’ve only done 6 miles in it since Christmas - so quite interested in the pricing.
Wonder why they’re dropping so much?
Some with less than 100 miles have been for sale months, I’ve seen them week on week slash £1000’s off the price.
Is it simply oversupply? Or are people not daft enough to sign up to a PCP at 10.9%? They look great value for a cash buyer, how negotiable are the interest rates on pre reg cars.
They’re something I’m looking at, at some point this year and aren’t particularly fussy on spec so could make sense.

I’m talking about lack of use.I.e. since December it’s been sat in the garage doing bugger all except depreciating so I’m considering getting rid of it.
It’s unlikely it will be going to a dealer if I move it on. Just interested to see where the pre-reg, or very low miles, dealer cars are as obviously I’d get less for mine. Hence the interest.
I think getting your pants pulled down when moving an M car on goes without saying...

A similar thing happened back in 2012 when the e92 M3 was nearing its production cycle, I picked up a Frozen Silver edition for 45k down from a list of 63k (unregistered showroom model)
No haggling, I was just sat in it, salesman said do you want it? I said I cant afford it, he replied you can if I knock 18k off it.

Yep your right, I have been lucky with the sale of mine, my M3 CP one year old and 7500 miles on it went for £47K for 1st march PX agianst a G30 540i M Sport Xdrive which I also got £12K off, so all good, but many will get caught out. Sad no more "M"'s for me now they loose so much.I.e. since December it’s been sat in the garage doing bugger all except depreciating so I’m considering getting rid of it.

There are 23 M3 and M4 cars on the BMW locator today. Nothing perfect yet so I would have to compromise on something. There are two cars very close however but there’s no rush so I wait for a few weeks before I do anything.
Still trying to order a new one. Target price is £50k. Don’t think it will happen but I like the challenge of trying.
