Wow..that is stunning! An incredibly rare colour combo on a chrome bumper E30 convertible as both Crimson red leather and Granite silver were both introduced for 1990 and the chrome bumper E3o0 convertible was only built up to october 1990.
Ive never seen either colour on a chrome bumper E30 convertible in 20+ years ive been into them.
Its choppy, in fact probably overpriced by about £10k but....... find another!
Pretty sure 4star had this for sale some years ago.

It is lovely, I'm just wondering if there is too much red going on in the cabin.

Yes, I drove that car. Not sure I could live with that much red.
I did some work to it during my time at ML and got to drive it then.Personally i loved that interior and the paint colour. Ive always been a lover of unusual spec and individual cars although that would pre date BMW individual.

Looking for a price guide here. My mate has a M3 that has been off the road for 10 years. He has not got the money required to get it going so it needs to be sold. If I could pass a realistic value under his nose he might come to his senses.
It is a 1989 215hp non cat model, AK05. Alpine white Anthrazit cloth interior. German version, was imported. What is holding it up is bad rust in the left inner guard, forward of the fusebox. Some rust around the number plate lights, otherwise it is ok. It could do with a set of injectors, one is not flowing properly. Noisy crap exhaust. Starts up ok.
It needs a the left wheelhouse replacing and a repaint.
What sort of realistic money is this worth ?

A full restoration back to stock will set you back £30k minimum, if you do a good chunk of the work yourself.
The reality with cars such as this, is they will get enough work done to make it look "right" and then it will be sold for £50k with a load of issues papered over for the future owner to discover.
There is a lot of risk in buying a "clean" E30 M3 right now. IMO the market is peaking or has done so already, so it is not as if you can rely on a future increase in value to offset the cost of correcting a poor tidy up of a dilapidated car.
