Is the service pack specific to a named dealer or is it BMW wide?
Def dealer wide because the pack is transferable you couldn’t expect a car sold 500 miles away to return to the selling dealer. It’s just like the warranty. Any dealer can work on it.Edited by Burwood on Wednesday 24th April 10:04

If it's of interest to anyone I was offered a showroom f90 unreg with 12 mile on the clock and fully specced to 103k 1 week ago for 74k.
Spec and pic are below.
In the end I went for a 3 year old RS6 performance for 8k less. I'm terms of seats, tech, outright performance and interior the m5 was ahead but I just preferred the way the big Audi felt and looked.
How is the rs6 treating you Spec and pic are below.

66k for a 3 year old rs6. Am I reading that right? Blimey, you must have really liked it
And now £29k off us the new benchmark
Edited to say. 5k for special and not very appealing paint. I see now
Even so... that’s incredibly strong residuals on the RS6. I’d much rather take the M5 in that situation, purple or not, and I love RS6’sAnd now £29k off us the new benchmark

My wife didn’t approve of my F10 when I bought it.
She’s since been traded for a facelifted and far more compliant model. Kept the car though!
Ouch, that M purchase must have turned out to cost even more than the usual depreciation. Usually find buying her diamonds (bribery) works out cheaper in the long term. She’s since been traded for a facelifted and far more compliant model. Kept the car though!

Our previous RS6 was almost ridiculously cheap. Bought for £68k at a year old with 6k on the clock, sold 11 months later with 15k on the clock for £64k. Taking the dealer margin out, they actually went up in price.
No M5 will ever perform like that financially, but thanks to Audi not flooding the market with too many new cars like BMW always seem to do with the M5 (far too many for the volume of people who can spend £90k+ on a big saloon) RS6’s consistently seem to be a much sounder financial proposition.

Undeniable fact, yes. Each to their own but for me, whilst still a great car, a 3 year old RS6 vs a new M5 (that new car feel) isn't a difficult decision. In terms of 1 year old, I would class that as ostensibly newNo M5 will ever perform like that financially, but thanks to Audi not flooding the market with too many new cars like BMW always seem to do with the M5 (far too many for the volume of people who can spend £90k+ on a big saloon) RS6’s consistently seem to be a much sounder financial proposition.

Which do you actually prefer though, taking all financials out of the picture? No M5 will ever perform like that financially, but thanks to Audi not flooding the market with too many new cars like BMW always seem to do with the M5 (far too many for the volume of people who can spend £90k+ on a big saloon) RS6’s consistently seem to be a much sounder financial proposition.
