Speak to Gary at Sandal Huddersfield
98 Leeds Rd
Huddersfield
West Yorkshire
HD1 6NN
01484 515515
£5950 + 23 x £495 0% APR Contract Hire with no ownership option towards the end; which suits me.
He also told me that BMW's Contract Hire strategy will be revised for the end of this quarter (June-Sep) so the deal may not be the same. However, this may not apply across other dealerships (some who can and cannot match the deal).
If he asks who referred, say Moe from Huddersfield so he knows the deal in question.

I was told £495 flat. If it was anything else then I could get better deals elsewhere.
Still quite a hefty 12 x deposit though. If I bought it outright, that's how much I'd lose as soon as I drove it out of the showroom.
That probably won't be beaten and could go up at the end of September and then come back again in Q1 2014.

True, it makes £17335 in total over 24 months which is a stonking deal.

Yes after 2 years BMW would guarantee the value @ £38,500 (low estimate) so you would need the car to be worth £55,500 (don't think this is to far away?)to get your £17,000 back.
With Purchase prices around £68,000 (depending on spec) in real money the car might only cost you £12,500 the car would have to be down at about a value of £50,000 to have cost you the £17,500.

Also, to me, the feel I need to be able to purchase this car at my own leisure (within reasonable time limits) and not be pressured into making a deal at the drop of a hat is a luxury.
It seems that if you push these dealers hard enough they'll match the deal (well, some of them will anyway). I got another call back about 5 minutes ago from Sytner BMW in Nottingham
Person in question (and a very nice chap too), give him the business guys.

I would be surprised if the car would be worth 55k...maybe £45 IMHO...With Purchase prices around £68,000 (depending on spec) in real money the car might only cost you £12,500 the car would have to be down at about a value of £50,000 to have cost you the £17,500.

Did not pull the trigger immediately as I didn't get the chance to talk spec, colour combo etc but that does not mean I won't do the deal with Huddersfield

Without wishing to sound obnoxious, did you mention me? (Moe from Huddersfield).

You can always try Gary from Huddersfield but again could be spec sensitive.
