It was Cooper BMW in Sunderland/Boldon. It’s only 10 mins from my house and have bought many cars from them. They had all the M4’s lined up a few weeks back when I was ordering my M5 Competition... think most are new sold but I would definitely call them to check. They do not retail any used cars but stock all of the pre reg vehicles within the Cooper group. Seen some massive savings here over the years.
Thanks.

Just to be clear, we're definitely talking CP cars with 'ultimate pack'?

These cars are completely under the radar, if so, and none of the specialist forums are on to them either!

The ultimate pack is a known thing on the BMW forums, Bimmerpost as an example, there are few on the AUC will delivery miles, Lloyd have a 2k miles example up for 48k IIRC.

I'm not meaning that the ultimate pack isn't a known thing - its well known.

I'm talking about the availability of pre-reg (delivery miles) cars, with the ultimate pack, for £47k as per the various posts in this thread.

Edit: I think maybe there could be cars sitting around without the exterior carbon and in non-individual colours, but with the other bits, hence the cheaper prices?

Not entirely sure as decided against buying before I really got anywhere. But it would be extremely good value to be £47k with Ulimate Pack?

Absolutely! M4 CP with ultimate pack is pretty much £80k list.

I've had an offer on my 17 plate CP (non-ultimate pack, obviously) at just under £40k so we're only talking £7k to swap to a 2.5 year newer one with better spec'.

(We'll just disregard the fact that I hardly use the one I've already got biggrin )

Is this offer from BMW? Strong money for a 17 plate regardless of the mileage as pre reg UP’s have been seen going for 47k!

I think the LCI M4 will maintain strong values from now on as they look so menacing along with those lovely style 666 wheels.

Pre LCI non CP’s will keep coming down to 15-20k but I think if you keep yours or if someone buys one for 40k tomorrow and decides to keep it for the next 4 years, you won’t lose more than 10-15k I reckon, 15k max

Someone offered privately for mine (right colour exterior and interior plus the full leather which they want). Even WBAC offered £37k - I've sold several cars to them and they paid the full price every time, too. Pricing is bizarre at the moment...

Regarding the cars with UP at £47k that you mention, this is what I'm trying to track down because I can't find one anywhere with the 'proper' ultimate pack which includes exterior carbon. Plenty about without though...

Just get on the phone to the two dealers mentioned and see if they have any? If not, it may be dead?

I think not.

There are cars available, but none that I've found are full UP spec' with carbon.

Dealers I've spoken to don't know of any cars with full UP at the prices quoted in this thread.

I assume the ones being talked about are lacking carbon exterior, etc.

Depends what you want? You can get a CP with HUD, surround cameras, full leather etc for £4Xk, if you want individual paint or full UP you can spend £10-15k more if you like.

Don't get me wrong, the UP cars are nice, as are the Rosso Corsa or Birch Green individual painted ones out there but they're circa £15k more. £15k! For the same car!

The UP makes it no more dynamic and probably worth no more when you sell.

I've already got a CP with full leather, HUD, individual paint, etc, etc.

The whole point was that if there really are full UP cars on offer for less than £10k more than I can get for mine, I'd be interested, given that it would be 2.5 years newer and have full carbon exterior pack which I was looking at buying for mine.

Thanks to this thread I put a deposit down on a new (not pre-reg) M4 with CP and UP, including exterior carbon pack at £51k. I should pick it up before the end of the week.

That's just crazy! Couldn't get a pre-reg one for that price 18 months ago.
