Freedom contracts have now listed the M5, although it's a tad confusing on the basis that the personal lease costs are roughly the same as the business rates, which can't be right. They're quoting £3400 down and £564 for 36 months on PCP, seems pretty good if it's right.

Have you a direct link to the M5 deals, I can't see any? Thanks J

That should've read PCH not PCP. Not sure if it is correct but I think Freedom are ok, at least a couple of folk on here have used them without a problem I believe.

So just out of interest, how does this compare to the cracking deals people were picking up before xmas?

If the PCP figures quoted are correct then I think it's similar, from memory the earlier deals were for 24 months where the current one is 36.

I've only purchased cars outright in the past so trying to work out whether PCH vs. PCP or 24 vs 36 makes it better, worse, or just different!

The previous deals were £489 + VAT.

I've been looking at the M5 deals recently. This is a really good deal if true, yet to have a response back from them. Feels a bit like a typo - equates to £469 + vat

The Freedom deal is definitely not right. It's + VAT. Spoke to them today.

Figured that was the case, over three years it's still not bad though when you factor in likely depreciation.

Looks like this is now a fairly standard rate based on contracthireandleasing.com. Not as good as the pre Christmas deals unfortunately.

Hi all,

New car registration Question:

How does new car registration work? M5 is arriving this week.

Does the dealer have to register the car as it is imported (i.e a 63 plate) or can they wait and register it in March (14 plate)

Probably a silly question but is there any leeway around registration? I.e I drive the car away this weekend as a 14 plate even though it's not March yet?

Thanks

You should be able to tell them to wait if you want but you have to do it ASAP.

No way to drive it away if it's not March unfortunately.

If you are leasing the car what difference does it make?
