Anyone local to this car / dealer? (Weeton, Lancs)

This is ticking all the boxes for me in terms of what i want.. however it is over 200miles away and a bit over my budget! Am ready to travel but just wondered if any local M owners had spotted it and thought wow / hmmmm / not bad etc.. or know the dealer as one to be trusted or avoided! biggrin

Nice colour but grey interior ? Do you like that ? I had grey in a 911 once and never again . Safer with black , especially when it’s time to sell

It's not my favourite colour interior if i'm honest.. however, the rest of the car ticks all my boxes and especially so given this has the carbon spoiler and front splitter. Also, i don't think the photos in the advert do it much justice (inside) as it's very dark and shadowy!

My must have's:

- Not black ext
- DCT
- EDC
- Low (ish) miles - under 70k
- 09> car (updated i-drive)

That's my old car!! It was absolutely perfect when I traded it in, I loved it and still miss it.

Feel free to PM me if you have any questions.

Great taste, it looks amazing still! I'm really keen on this one.. tell me everything about it... including how gentle you were with it in your ownership and how it was never ever thrashed! biggrinwink

Looks like good value at that price.

When i opened the ad and saw the price, before scrolling to the detail in instantly though, pre-lci, manual, non-edc etc. The seats won't be to everyone's taste but the rest seems good on paper

I had one with Palladium.

I thought it was very nice in the flesh and much preferred it to black on black.

Mine also has grey leather with wood effect inserts. It looked terrible in the ad at Sytner, but they had the flash on when they took the photos for it.

I was in two minds, but I really liked the spec, so I went to have a look at it. It looked so much better in the metal. The grey wasn't so pale looking, and the wood effect inserts were darker than the photos suggested. Over all, I really liked the interior, so I bought it.

Just to update on the car i posted about with the autotrader link about two weeks ago:

She is now MINE! biggrin Thanks to Joscal for you emails, was reasurring to know some history about the car and that it was owned by at least 1 owner who took care of it! To be fair, it seems like all the past owners have taken good care of it as it is in really good condition. 1 loose piece of trim and a few tiny dings on the rear bumper.. but otherwise spot on! Had so many looks / waves and smiles from people on the motorway driving back. Even managed to get 25mpg which is better than i'd expected.

Will start a separate thread in readers car's at some point but initial thoughts are WOW! Engine is incredible, i knew it was going to be good but it is everything i expected and way more! The way it revs from 6 to 8.3k is insane!! And going through the gears with the DCT on full speed manual you very quickly get to silly speeds without even realising it. I am addicted!! cool

Very nice, I hope to be on the market for one in May if I sell my 135i.

Looking for fully loaded, low mileage E92 M3.

EDC option or aftermarket?

Loving it so far.. and still getting to know the car. Initial thoughts, definitely needs a louder exhaust! I am going to start with the backbox internal exhaust mod just to give it a little more volume. Might go for the Evolve de-cat after that. Perhaps i'll update the DCT software to the latest spec too as it is meant to improve the shift speed even more! (Rapid as it is!!)

First job is to give it a thorough clean / polish and wax! It has been well looked after in the past but it's always a good way to get to know the finer details of the car / bodywork etc.. when you go over it with a fine (ocd) tooth comb!

Few more pics (it's filthy from 350 miles of driving this weekend! biggrin)

Fantastic looking car! All the nice bits (carbon + extended leather, which makes a big difference IMHO) and perfect colour! Love that space grey!

GTS gearbox upgrade is a good shout. Shifts give quite a thump in mode 4 and 5. Its also less- dim witted around town and seems to know what the driver needs. Downshifts are noticeably faster too.

Cheers! I am over the moon with it! Definitely need to get my SLR out for a proper shoot as looking again at those iphone pics, they are terrible quality!

ohhh sounds great. I've already noticed around town how dim-witted it is.. quite reluctant to kick down sometimes.

I love the thump you get going through the gears at full chat, makes me smile every time! biggrin

You should definitely check out the 2 pipe mod - best thing I did to mine, and zero drone on the motorway. Makes the downshift rev matching a glorious event with the DCT
