Mint. Really nice colour. I love blue but would have ordered in portimao if it was on this. Like a darker gloss as I think I would struggle to keep this well enough.

That does look really good, very jealous!

That angle certainly shows how open to damage the front rads are though, any thoughts about adding some protection in there?

FFS. This is supposed to be a thread full of negativity about how much you hate a car you don't have to buy or even drive, not about how much you like a car that you actually take home! wink

And no amount of clever photography will hide the fact that it's objectively ugly!

Aside from the rear bulge and the front it looks okay - E92 M3 in proportions.

At first I thought it was an ugly car but now I see it for what it is; aggressive looking with performance to match. They look much better in the metal and I've had more people come over and have positive conversations about mine, in the week I've had it, than any other car I've owned.

^^^ yes that's how I feel. It has grown on me too. Happens so often with BMW designs. Remember the E82?

The M2 has grown on me too….got a decent deal from my local dealer.
Test drive one last week and I loved it, preferred it too my Mk8 Golf R, felt special.
Zandvoort blue M2 arrives late August! Can’t wait….

Personally i think Zandvoort suits it very well... which seats and gearbox have you gone for....?

Thanks, really pleased with it and it feels properly rapid even keeping the revs down.

Look forward to getting the running in service done so that I can properly boot it.

I got about 27/28 mpg on the 20 mile trip home driving fairly carefully which wasnt bad at all either.

Same here. Plenty of torque to hurl it forward in any gear.

Handbook says vary the revs up to 5,000 for the first 600 miles, then up to 6,000 until after running in service. It's hard to hit 5,000 revs, except in first, without doing silly speeds!

I'm mostly leaving it in Nanny auto whilst running in and will set up the M buttons etc after that.

My first M car and, so far, very impressed. Next door neighbour has a GT4 and I think the torque of the M2 will ensure it doesn't have any trouble keeping up on the road. The M2 certainly compared well against the GTS in magazine road tests.
