Personally i think Zandvoort suits it very well... which seats and gearbox have you gone for....?
Went for the auto and black leather seats with red/blue on the sides.
Not seen a Zandvoort in the metal yet…looks great in pics.

Mine due August looking forward to it. Didn’t wait for small changes due from Sept build. Guess there will be a price increase then.

Are you asking us if we're pleased with it? wink

Love your car and if I went for M2 I'd aslso pick that same colour.

Currently having some crazy thoughts about changing my old 911 to a nearly new M2... Curious if anyone has done similar and what they think?

Depends what you use it for, mine is a daily so I needed an all rounder.

For a weekend car I would keep the 997, if its used regularly the M2 is a far better car however imo.

The ride quality given the peformance is fantastic, I also managed decent MPG on a run earlier off boost.

Also its without saying performance wise its 997 turbo quick or thereabouts. In reality they put out very close to 500hp not the claimed 450 from what I gather.

Depends on your vintage and type of 911. I have owned two 996's, a C2 from new 20 years ago, and a C4 for a couple of years in 2015. The M2 wins hands down in my view in every measure. A classic Carrera on the other hand, I'm not sure I'd be making the swap (I'd try to get an M2 as well).

I do like these, but offered a 8 month old used one with 1k miles on it for £50k

I fear these will be £40k in a years time and mid 30’s the year after. At which point they’ll be a performance bargain.

Anybody buying new, even with the 9-10% discounts on offer is going to encounter a large drop.

Having sat in the 3 cars at the dealer I was suprised how nice / comfortable the carbon buckets were.

All cars suffer big depreciation in current climate. 4.9% finance if you need it attractive on M2 than launch rates.

Took my 86 year old Mum out to lunch for her birthday in mine yesterday. Not sure that it's a good thing that she liked it.

Using her blue badge ensured nobody bashed my car in the extra wide disabled bay.

A teenager took a video of us departing the car park. Either an admirer of the car, or reporting me for parking an M2 in a disabled bay.

Quick question for you guys.

We have a brand new G87 M2 which we picked up on Saturday 27 April. The car was driven home 5 miles and then left in the garage for two weeks whilst we were on holiday. The car then went to be ceramic coated which the guy had for two weeks and kept the car on a CTEK battery charger over night which indicated that the battery was fully charged.

The car has covered 69 miles and whilst the car was being coated the guy sent me a picture showing a warning on the digital display saying to 'Replace Battery' even though the car starts and drives fine and according to my CTEK charger the battery is fully charged.

My wife called the supplying BMW dealer today and was told that the guy who looks after new cars was not in the dealership as it was his day off and that he will call back tomorrow, she was also told that the battery is potentially not covered under warranty. This car has covered 69 miles from new. I will kick up a fuss as I will not pay for a new battery on a brand new car if they are adamant that it's not covered under warranty.

Anyone else had this issue??

It'll be covered under warranty.

The service desk agent will be told to give out that line when anyone mentions battery.

It’s a brand new car, so it’s covered by the Consumer Rights Act 2015. The warranty is irrelevant.
