535D M sport. 295bhp remap?

Hey, I'm new to this!
I've bought a late 2011 535D Msport automatic, 295bhp and it's brilliant I genuinely love it.
I'm not clued up on modifying and I don't want to obviously change the appearence of the car... But I would like to remap at a garage I know to be reliable.
Is it worth it? And will I "kill" my new pride and joy? (I fully maintain and service my cars correctly etc)....

Thank you, yes it's a reputable "well talked about" garage in my area that a lot of friends etc have taken cars of all price ranges and types etc..
Just don't want to hurt my new toy haha! It's already quick but with the twin turbo etc I don't want massive bills of anything blows..
Like I said I'm not the most clued up person of the mechanics of cars and stress ratings etc I just want to improve and not ruin

I had a 2005 E61 535d that I remapped at 90k miles. As long as there are no underlying issues with the car it will be fine. I had it done by Emaps and they came to my house from Birmingham to do it.
They are a very reputable company and well known with the BMW owners. After 250 or so miles the car had adjusted and it was noticeably quicker and a lot freer revving - for a diesel.
Could hit an easy 165mph on the autobahns when off to the 'ring and then do 40mpg all day long when cruising 85mph down to Le Mans on the heavily policed autoroutes.

You won't it will be fine. All modern BMWs have big allowances - none of the components are made on the edge of thheck your car eir tolerances. Any decent remapper will error code car before they make any changers.
On the 535 they only really adjust the fuelling, the boost is only raised approx 0.1 bar according to Emaps with their map. Which is very little in real terms.

A year ago I had a £1000 deposit on a 57/E61/Panam roof/60k miles in silver. Weeks later the lady found the house of her dreams, and the long and short is that to afford it all our cars and the like needed to go. This included said E61. I nearly cried calling the dealer to say I needed to cancel, luckily he refunded the deposit with no question. Great cars, I'm v jealous. Remap it ASAP, that was my plan!
If it has tits or wheels it shall bankrupt you, at least have some fun along the way.....
We had a 335xD at the DMS group buy (not sure if this is the same engine as yours?) Stock output was just over 300bhp if i recall & the Custom tune lifted this to just shy of 400bhp (car was running on Winter tyres & regular unleaded) & increased torque by about 100lbsft. I'm sure the owner is on here & may have posted in the DMS EVO thread.
Having just bought one of these cars myself, I understand that it's more complicated than simply a remap. Unlike the previous generation, the F10 ecu is encrypted so that most tuners can't crack it and under the new design BMW can register any change to the ecu set up, which voids the warranty or any goodwill in the event of failure.
Therefore, most people go down the tuning box route to avoid detection by BMW. Various companies do this - Hartge, AC Schnitzer and Dinan come to mind. They are really quite expensive but offer warranties (speak to Birds in Iver) and the box can be removed and reattached before going in for a service or any checks by BMW.

I assume Evolve have a solution but again, not sure what that might be.
