Without delving into all of the sordid details surrounding my unfortunate situation, my M3 was taken from my drive last week, however thankfully recovered - Thank you TRACKER!!!

It's the first time I've ever suffered such a violation, despite many years of premium/desireable car ownership, and it has led me to re-evaluate my car security arrangements.

I'm interested in purchasing the most effective, the most visible, and the best mechanical means of preventing my car being taken again.

I'm interested in something like this, however would like to hear from other people as to whether it is compatible with the SMG paddles on my E46 M3

How did they take your M3? Did they get your keys?

I believed they were near impossible to tke without keys.

Apparently the pros can have them off in <30 seconds. Does the e46 have a code startup feature like the e36 did with the 18 button OBC?
