Clutch slip in wet weather? (E46 M3 SMG)
Discussion
The clutch/pressure plate/flywheel are pretty well protected from water ingress and the heat from the engine and gearbox and from normal slipping should quickly evaporate any moisture.
Best way to find clutch slip is full throttle in a high gear at medium to low engine speed; in that scenario wheelspin is unlikely to occur expect perhaps in the winter!
I'd be more inclined to think it was small amounts of wheelspin and/or the diff reacting to small amounts of wheel spin and transferring torque from side to side.
