Evening Munich Lovers

I'm 23, 7 years NCB and IAM. I've had my M5 for 9 months and have done just over 10k in it since (that's not £, yet...)

Admiral were cheapest last year at just a smidgen over £1100 for the insurance. This is on a multicar with 2 others.

They have sent through renewal and it is pretty much the same as last year, which I think is still a great price.

But, does anybody know of any insurers who would consider even quoting? I've called a couple of places and they won't quote due to my age and Group 20/45+ car.

Over to you.

Even at the grand old age of 33 last year, the Admiral / Elephant lot were cheapest for my e92 M3, so my guess is you might be best off staying put. But you're right to look into it.

Or you could go down the two car route and look at insuring the M5 on a 5k limited mileage policy as a second car...
Is that what you do with the E28?

I'm fantastic at man maths!

Is there a fixed criteria on age for classics or what?

The man maths calculator is out already

Sounds about right but have you given IAM Surety a call for a quote?

Wait a year they said.

Just under a grand, that's a firm result.

Worryingly easy to get money off, I wonder if there is even more if you push.

Clearly they just assume you won't ring up and they gain all that money that they haven't discounted.

Anyway, I'm happy. Sub £1k insurance on a group 20/50 car at 24, schwing!
