Wow, suddenly this looks serious... However, it's odd that his obnoxious thread replies have been about or related to Porsche subjects? You'd think that had he been successfully 'cloned' it would be totally random all over the site; especially as he doesn't post any car details on his profile? And why the hell would a 'cloner' come onto PistonHeads when he apparently has his bank details too?

Seriously Lee, take a deep sniff mate!

Quite funny though, even if it's bordering on slightly worrying! nuts

I think your confused, his bank details were just another thing he was doing on his computer which he thinks was recorded.

I have seen this before where people think its very funny to post with someone else's saved details. As he said in his post a guy at work is watching this and has rang him laughing. So as a friend/work collegue the guy is likely to know what his prefences are.

When they first introduced Windows networks on RN ships people would log-in and leave the computer unlocked and then for a giggle everyone used to send emails on their behalf (you know the type: I like to wear dresses etc), in the end it got that bad they had to make it an offence to not lock the computers.

I am very sceptical about everything but was just saying maybe we should just be charitable and give the guy the benefit of the doubt over this.

He maybe fibbing but then again maybe not. His true character will be revealed at some point anyway if he becomes a regular.

My girlfriends little sister had this done to her recently. She is a duffer though and clicks on/installs anything offered. She clicked on an unknown link from a contact and received a MSN transmitted trojan then afterwards someone started posting on her behalf on a forum she visits.

Nope, just was an example of a typical I.T. based prank.

Like I said earlier, this is possible but as for the matter of if KLM did it? Who knows. I mearly stated this sort of thing is very possible.

Well, klm has emailed me, so I'm going to take him at his word and view these recent posts as not being his.

not remotely convinced. So the hacker goes to steal bank account details and thnks he'll also go troll a forum and change the username.

If klm confirms these posts were not him, I'll change my mind, but there are plenty of posts at bm3w to explain as well.

Check his much older posts, his tone has definately changed in the last few weeks.

Dude, this aggression will not stand!

My CSL was a little bit tuned, like yours and apart from one car length a 996tt could pull ahead off the line I could keep up with it to about 140mph. If I slipstreamed him I would go all the way to 180 on his tail (Speedo reading).

An X50 or chipped 911 is a different story, but the reality is that round a circuit I absolutely blitzed turbos of any description (road going cars). At Spa (with the exception of Kemmel) I just romped away from them.

380bhp and 1400kg v 420bhp and 1575kg. Sounds about even to me. If you want to go fast round a circuit then the BMW has it quite easily. The 996tt is not a GT3...Nice car, all the same, but not nearly as quick as all these brand obsessed morons think they are.

BTW, Sport Auto actually quote 7.47.6 for the CSL, not 7.50, which is getting on for 10 seconds quicker than the Turdbo.

I have met him, and seems such a nice bloke in person. I think he may have been a bit drunk when he posted all that bilge earlier, or there is something in having his id pinched.
