my mate had a car messed about with and said yeah it's alot quicker, untill he put it on the rollers, boy did he get a shock.
It was worse than official figures.

Just take the bhp gains claim with a pinch of salt.

As I said before, my mate Csl has got the full Supersprint system with race kats

Hmmmmmmmmm............

Yes, my mate had "a car" messed about with

And my other mate had a full SuperSprint on his "Csl"

Can't see where I said the "Csl" has been tuned

HMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM god you get some Divs on these forums, really sad that they read something that is not there, try getting out more, maybe to buy a new anorak

In Beemer-5's defence, it seemed to me like you said your mate's car that had been messed with was a CSL - "as I said earlier" seemed in reference to the messed about with car.

Don't think there's much need to refer to people as "divs" though mate, chill out a bit.

beer

Dude, the bloke obviously uses the forum to make up for other inadequacies. He is an argumentative twit who needs to chill out, as you rightly say.

Have a look at www.track-challenge.com and do a comparision between the CSL and 911 TT.

CSL // 911 TT
0 - 40 Km/h 1,4 s // 1,2 s
0 - 60 Km/h 2,2 s // 1,9 s
0 - 80 Km/h 3,6 s // 3,2 s
0 - 100 Km/h 4,8 s // 4,2 s
0 - 120 Km/h 6,8 s // 5,9 s
0 - 140 Km/h 8,6 s // 7,4 s
0 - 160 Km/h 10,8 s // 9,4 s
0 - 180 Km/h 14,2 s // 11,9 s
0 - 200 Km/h 16,7 s // 14,6 s

and

Elasticity (4./5./6.)
CSL // 911 TT
80 - 100 Km/h 2,7 s / 3,5 s / 4,1 s // 1,7 s / 2,4 s / 3,4 s
80 - 120 Km/h 5,1 s / 6,9 s / 8,7 s // 3,5 s / 4,5 s / 6,1 s
80 - 160 Km/h 10 s / 13,5 s / 18,1 s // 7,6 s / 9,2 s / 12,1 s
80 - 180 Km/h 13,2 s / 17,1 s / 23,7 s // 9,6 s / 11,7 s / 15,4 s
80 - 200 Km/h - s / - s / - s // 12,3 s / 14,6 s / 18,9 s

This looks like a pretty clear performance difference, IMHO

Edit: Sorry about the crap formatting

Now look at lap times and the CSL is faster, and the drivers are better looking driving gods

Excellent, I can ue those figures to "prove" that I would overtake a 996TT just before hitting 100 mph.

But yes, the 996TT is more powerful, has 4wd and accelerates quicker. It's still a little slower round the Nordschleife and, as we all know, that is the only measure that counts.

This post contains sarcasm.

I am sure that you will fit in really well there, although some of the conversation may well be a little beyond you.
(No doubt you will stomp around and call everyone a div and tell all and sundry that they are talking rubbish.)

So much for 'reading what was not written', klm. (As you previously put it).
Dude never said that, neither did anyone else.

In the main, forummers have given honest, sensible views about the CSL and 996tt. But of course, you see it all different.

As others have said in various ways, you are a sad, sad tool.

When you have had a personality transplant, come back and talk cars. Until then, that playgroup you are a member of will offer you all you could possibly need, pal.

Almost certainly, Zod.
Frankly, the forum needs aggressive weirdos like klm like a Polar Bear needs summer sunshine.
Complete and utter tozzer.

This one is class: a positive thread about a dealer and he just wades in and says their all wankers with no justification whatsoever?!
www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&t=328354&r=4370995&hm=33619#4370995

It gets better: a question about a nice car being spotted - PORSCHE CARRERA GT SPOTTED ..SHELL STATION A11
He comes in with: "yeah it was a GT, done a track day at Snetterton, way over rated in my opinion, looked a bit gay in the flesh, think there is alot better cars out there for the money."
So now, he's a homophobe too?!

A superb display of knowledge: www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&t=292902&r=3779124&hm=33619#3779124

This guy seems to drive a Porsche, but spends a lot of time browsing various discuss threads trying to antagonise people? Personally I tend to stick with events, my local region and cars I drive today or have owned in the past. I'm not interested in Mercs for example, so it's highly unlikely I'd ever look in the Merc forum - and certainly wouldn't wade in with stupid comments about people being girls because of their opinions FFS (a homophobic sexist... what a great guy he must be!)

Or alternatively KLM/TWATWATCHING is obviously a knowledgable bloke and we should all defer to his knowledge? confused

(Maybe he has two personalities so he can wear trousers for one and a dress for the other?) biglaugh

not remotely convinced. So the hacker goes to steal bank account details and thnks he'll also go troll a forum and change the username.

If klm confirms these posts were not him, I'll change my mind, but there are plenty of posts at bm3w to explain as well.
