Couldn’t resist this for replacing my old trusty NC sport tech.
It’s the 184 upgrade and is a different beast altogether. It reminds me of my mark one eunos from many many years ago, more raw than the NC.
Apologies for photo, taken just after delivery.
I absolutely love it.

Thanks - It's called "Ceramic" a combination of white, grey and silver.

I believe the previous owner specced the sports springs as a dealer fit option when he bought it new.
They sit alot better on these..

Memories of my first MX,a Eunos in the same colour and trim.
An absolute hoot.
Smile machine indeed!

Love the colour, it’s soul red isn’t it?

Soul red crystal which according to Mazda - "Soul Red Crystal is an advanced version of Soul Red that balances vibrant energy and vividness with clear depth and gloss. It boasts 20 percent greater colour saturation and 50 percent more depth than Soul Red, for a fresher, lustrous transparence."

I had no idea there were two versions until after I'd bought the car.

That new Soul Red certainly looks amazing.

My only grouse with the ND is that when the roof goes down ... part of it comes straight up again!

Me neither. It is a lovely colour and I think I've seen it on other Mazda models but on the MX-5 it looks fantastic.

Yes loving it, thanks for all the positive comments.

One thing that I do need to do is change the aerial for a stubby version, I swear I'm going to lose an eye when putting things in the boot.

I changed my aerial last week for a shorter one off Amazon for £7.99.DAB too.
I’ve just seen it’s now £6.99.Works fine and takes half a minute to change. It’s called Eightwood.
