Really? I've never had the stability control come on when cornering, though the traction control light does have a dance when pulling away quickly.

I've noticed when cornering tightly there is a little shift at the back end as it loads up, but I've never been sure if it was some suspension movement, tyre walls, or a little slide. I tend to lift-off before cornering, so it all occurs with the car quite neutrally, though it is a little scary
