Having just got my Eunos I think I need a new coilpack frown It starts and runs ok from cold but when starting from warm / hot it starts missing and almost to the point of stalling. I was hoping a recent full service might iron it out but it seems not, hence me thinking I need a new coilpack. Does anyone know the best place to get one from? Notice mx5 parts have them @ £150ish?!

Also my insurance requires me give details for a thatcham approved immobiliser. Now the car has a immobiliser on it but I don't have any of the paperwork for it. Does this mean I'll have to get a new one installed?!

Well I'm a bit stumped now! Car will start ok and run a little rough until warm then drive fine. Will also start up when warm fine. I started it from cold and just reversed down my street 100 yards to get it outside my house it started fine, but then when I went to start it again , literally 2/3 minutes later, it start ran very rough and the cut out, then wouldn't start after. Left it overnight and all was fine confused So unsure now whether it is the coil. Think I will wait and see how the car is over the next week or so.

The immobiliser has a little black fob that I swipe just on the right side underneath indicator stalk. Will hopefully get it in at a local auto-electricians this week.

Apart from the above the mx5 is soo much fun, not as torquey as my G40 but such a hoot to drive!!
