Glad you guys had a good day,
I’d have to to ventured out but far to scary
We were under siege yesterday and today
Guess tomorrow will be the same
Actually managed to mop and wax the B’
Solvo’d the chrome, then got out for a run
Seems ages since I’ve done that!!
MrsC said earlier "shall we take the dogs to Whitstable tomorrow?" - er, no, I don't think so!
rofl

Come over it will be fab, once you’ve negotiated the 2 mile queue on the slip road,
Driven around for an hour looking for a parking place,
The poxy council even charge now for parking on
The battle field along Seasalster sea wall!!
Unbelievable
We usually park up by Harry Hill's gaff, over the little railway bridge, and walk in from there, but not today.

So she persuaded me to go to Leysdown instead wobble I've only ever got as far as the outskirts before, at which point I've normally turned round and driven away very fast, screaming quietly hehe

Anyway we pressed on through, all the way down to Shellness, to the little car park at the end where you can't go any further. The dogs loved the beach. It was quite a nice walk.....until we had to walk past fat naked men vomit It's a "naturist" beach eek Bit nippy for that lark today if you ask me.

We went fairly early but by the time we left there were long tailbacks trying to get into Leysdown.

Leysdown brings back childhood memories!
Yeah the wife and I drive out there from time to time,
Absolute throwback to the old days,
The pubs, the arcades, proper old school,

Used to shoot skeet and Kingsferry way back,
Probably the first clay shoot to ban lead back in 2000.

It's less than a couple of hours from me and I'm sorely tempted to go take a look...
Thanks

Ad also says its a manual 3-speed, then says its got a TH400 which is an auto.....

The number of pedals in the footwell is normally a bit of a clue as to whether its a manual or auto rolleyes

The white T/Am 455 sold for £18K with commission at ACA Auction last weekend if that's any help,

Looked ok to me and l believe it was on Ebay for along time at £24K as newsatten stated before being entered at the auction.

As aero said these guys selling it doesn't seem to know much about what they are selling stating it was a 3 speed manual which

doesn't exist, then saying in the ad that it is fitted with a TH 400 box, They don't mention the engine size but i assume it's a 455,

Love the steering wheel but looks like it would be more suited to something more Italian ,

If not far cost nothing to go and have a look

It’s almost certainly a renosed 77’
So basically ruined, no 455’s in 77’
And I think the manual thing is it’s a manually shifted trans,
Hence 3 speeds,

For a road car it’s a stupid mod and makes the car a pig to drive,
As for price it’s well over valued,
As it’s neither fish nor fowl,
The rear glass will always give a moody F body away

Traffic on Saterday and Sunday was ok, here unlike Friday, about the same as a normal weekend really,

My surfer mate said he only took on the whole of Saterday and Sunday what he would normally taken by midday on a bank holiday Saterday,

With the rain today doesn't look like it will be much better, With Easter kicking off the summer season for him unless we have a heat wave

this summer he's a little worried as he runs at a loss most of the winter and plays catch up in the summer.

With Wheels Day quieter than usual looks like people are tightening their belts, a average working guy with a mortgage and kids may have to

justify a £100 petrol bill to get to any show in a doable distance plus entry and food .

Ok for the likes of me as it's my only hobby and because i can't be assed won't drive much further than one ,maybe two hours at a push for

the right show .traffic and roadworks not helping either.

They do say the following in the ad....

"Started out with the square headlights and silver
We have all the history of the transformation"

So, confirmation of nose change as well as a colour change.

You would think if they were going to that much trouble they would have fitted a bull nose front.

Given it was a same year car as the Bandit T/A, you would have thought you'd just change the colour to black and make it a Bandit T/A.....that's where the money would be.....just as is the painting of all 67/68 Mustang fastback Highland Geen is...?

Yes agreed but 70-73 bull noses’s command big money now
Running lights in the lower front scuttle are very hard to find

But yes a Black Bandit would have definitely been the right move,

I had a none T tops full Se, rare car,
As it was top delete , I bare metal’ed it and obviously removed are the crap, screaming chicken etc
Stain blacked the Ralleys it looked proper bad
That was back in the mid 80’s
So way outside the trend,

How rare is that, The general buying public don't seem to recognise these odd ball models,

Like sheep they follow the mass's and pay through the nose for the more well know models ,

Don't know where you would find or see another one , so far at a starting bid of £7K ,

exclusively doesn't come much cheaper than this, yes

The Merc version of the Ford Torino.....a big old bus, but quite cool looking in that 2 door hardtop form, and much better looking than the Torino equivilant.

It popped up on my ebay suggestions earlier, must admit it's the first one I've seen.

Oh dear - base model, bench seat coupe with 302 2 barrel car (someones stuck a 4 barrel on it) - not a Cyclone - it'll be relatively economical (or would have been with original carb) - looks solid though........good buy perhaps if it dosen't end too high - still prefer a Torino (with any engine though) - not my kinda thing but the Barracuda looks clean eBay item number:185851706603
