I think this is currently the only early Cougar for sale in the UK, it's restored so shouldn't need a hoard of parts to go with it but I suppose it's always handy to have them if you can find them... https://www.carandclassic.co.uk/car/C1003007 … I really do like it!
That Cougar is nice.....bare shell rebuild as well, so good value really, as you pay $30k in USA for a car that had been stripped back and done like that.I'd take the Cougar over that 1st gen Firebird.

John Aprea on the left played a wrong 'un in an early episode of 'The Streets Of San Francisco', meeting his maker at the hands of Michael Douglas's rozzer issue handgun. He reminds me a bit of Lee Marvin.A between takes shot on location for 'Bullitt', note the completely intact hubcab on the Charger...

'Making Music To Watch Storms Go By'...?Just started reading the Brooklands road test book on Challys, Chargers and Polaras etc, some great period photos in it and the writing is often very evocative of those less uptight times, and nothing like as dry as some of the UK magazines were at the time.
