I know you guys hated the "Ruffian" Galaxie that i got roasted for

but i think you are going to love the" Ruffian" 67 FIA Mustang Fastback,

Haven't watched it yet and with Chris Ashton anything can happen so

probably not going to like every thing he has done to it,

At a glance it looks like it's got my name written all over it.

Would keep my FIA Cobra 289 company in the toy cupboard,

The video is on the "AUTOTOPIA LA " channel , Title "Ruffian Cars 67 Ford FIA Fastback Mustang"

Just watched the video ,Not sure about the flared arches but a lot more tasteful than the Mach 1 he did previously.

I do like the wide wheels so maybe they are necessary,

Slightly narrower wheels and you may get away with just rolling the arches .

Looks like it's taken the wrong exit on a race track and ended upon the public road,

So much better than that awful blue/white striped 65 fastback that's still on C&C now at £40K,

Forget about what i said about the arches ,there fine i'm just being a girl ,still looks quite subtle considering ,

Beautifully put together , think i'm in love again love

Better than the other stuff they've done, but I don't like the arches.......wheels just too wide for my taste.

I like that year of Torino.so much nicer than the later bulky Starsky and Hutch shape,

A good alternative to just another Mustang and cheaper.

Love the dark green one in the film Torino,
Now that is really nice and a great price too - sadly it’s just a bit too big for my garage. Much nicer looking than the Starsky and Hutch version.

Viewing the TA Friday, Spoke to the guy this morning, he’s still got both cars,

Lucky sod, two 70 400 Ram Air manual’s
To be honest I’m pretty sure it will be to much work for me to take on,
I really couldn’t do another huge Yank in my tiny garage,

Viewing a 79’ Taimar Saturday afternoon, supposed to be all done underneath with uprated underpinnings all round,
Warmed over Essex 3lt,
It’s been a long time since I viewed anything so I’m not really expecting much!

Especially as I’m totally sidetracked by something else!!!

Bets of luck - hope they don't turn out to be turds wink

Her ladyship bought a scratchcard this morning with a £300k top prize.

I started looking into factory built Tornado GT40s.

We didn't win.

I stopped looking at factory built Tornado GT40s.

hehe

The only thing I don't like is the oversized wheels, but I appreciate why they've done it that way.

I've been watching 'Ratchet's' youtube channel on his Tornado GT40 build, it looks strangely exotic sitting in his garage and sounds pretty good on start up after a six month lay off (at 8.40 in)...

It was on the GT40 Enthusiasts Club stand at the NEC last year along with a real MkI and MkIII...

I remember looking round those at the time, I must admit I struggled to tell which were old originals and which were new! redface

Nice summer cruiser on Ebay, cool looking rear end too (ooer missus...).

I going to have to say this........the model name Fury is one of the most inappropriate names for a car ever (other than perhaps Mitsubishi Carisma). I mean, tell someone you've got a Plymouth Fury, take them outside to see what would sound like a heavy duty macho muscle car........and generally you'll see a rather mundane full size car with small block power, bench seats and stick shift, if lucky two doors and odd bits of chrome decorating it........just don't get 'em TBH!

Generally.....but not if it was a Sport Fury, and was specced (as many were) with one of these under the hood cloud9

Like the colour and lack of stripes, the Cobra fender stripe just brakes it up enough,

How about the 58 Plymouth Fury from Christine. A mate has an exact replica which is 100% mint. I think I have put a picture on here before.
I will try and find one

Each to their own, but I enjoy a summer drive out to a pub with the windows down, listening to the V8 burble. At full chat my Firebird wouldn't see which way my daily driver had gone, but that's not the point. I enjoy driving without going full knacker if the car's entertaining in other ways. Too many cameras, too many bimblers in their Peugeots, too many fuds in their SUVs checking their Instagram to be able to enjoy a fast car at anything like its limits on the roads around here. If I go up into the Peaks, the roads are great but nearly all 50mph and they very often have camera vans hidden away on any section where it's safe to get a wriggle on.

So for me, the noise and the aesthetics are important, not just outright pelt. smile
