A third C3 Vette coming up on " The Market" , Red 71 split roof Auto,
Looks ok on photo's and sensible estimate ,£15K-£19K,
That C3's had a lot on money spent in 2018 but dosen't seem to show. Engine looks like its a later lump of heads have been changed. Its had a whack on the front drivers side - hood fits badly - rattle can paint touch-ups. Interior looks reasonable - images are good, show all the imperfection on body etc. Looks ok on photo's and sensible estimate ,£15K-£19K,
Yeah i agree, well photographed , havn't glossed over the shabby bits, just as well really as theres a lot!
Obliviously been in a fight, one would defo want the check that out! as im assuming its a US repair?
But bought cheap enough, and used as a Ratty Vette, park it anywhere without worry, yeah seems to me to be the way to go,

Brand new 63 T/Birds rolling along with period Chevy's and Buick's ,even a Morris 1100 parked up,
Bucket loads of nostalgia .

My brother had a Frank Cannon Mk5 , absolutely huge car, drove all smooth and wafty , best feature for me was the faux Continental on the trunk,
He had a Boat tail Riv as well, much nicer car,
But today Interiors are very difficult to reproduce, tons of small items that are all but impossible to find, bodys rot like everything else, very little in the way of replacement panels, factor in back in the day they were almost worthless, so most have had tons of owners/abusers
Kiss of death over here,
Not sure how i feel about it , kind of like it but i don't know why,

Not my thing at all, I'm far to much of a traditionalist to like that, just calling it a hot rod makes my teeth itch Not sure how i feel about it , kind of like it but i don't know why,
Maybe a tasteful custom which this Riv definitely is not,
Perhaps i only like it because someone else owns it and if asked to part with money maybe a different story.

Sorry I couldn't find that one - however I was sufficiently irritated by the description 'restomod' given to a couple of later C3's with just an engine swap to a later engine and a set of tarty wheels..........
I'm just gone back and found it on page 4 under Classic cars not American cars ,Car & Classic, funny part is i looked under Corvette both under American cars and Chevolet classic cars and couldn't find it on either.
PS now on p5

Found it - very hopeful seller - one tends to find that people who own a '73 (and much like the Canadian £5K crapper at the bottom of the same page) try to put them over as being unique (having bought the automotive equivalent of neither one thing or another). Well they are unique, very unique - but not in a very good way unfortunately. A '73 is really a OEM 'cut 'n' shut' job, and the b'stard Francansteinian creation of a chrome bumper ass-end and a rubber federal bumper 'conk'. A bit like that tall lithesome blonde one might have gone out with all those years ago - you know, the one with the fabulous figure and butt - yet unfortunatey had a face that could have emanated from Dewhursts chopping block. And there is another topic for another day - 'modern' females (and lady-boys) who go for the Botox 'dead pan' look, comlimented by eyebrows 'loaned', courtesy of Grocho Marx, lips from Micky Rouke and cosmetics ex-Salvador Dali.
You and newsatten have a wonderful way with words, Another wonderful sunny day, off to the beach for another arduous day before the gridlock begins,

Looks good value in todays market, 62 T/bird just listed on Car & Classic, Baby blue /white top hat ,
Love the Thunderbirds Are Go dashboard with the swing away steering wheel.
All for as little as £13,500 or would you rather have a PA Cresta for £42K ,
Can't seem to find that T-Bird, which section of c&c is listed in? Often happens with c&c, it all depends where the seller chooses to list it, when I advertised my Mini 30 all those months ago I put it in the Rover and Mini sections but got zero hits early on.Love the Thunderbirds Are Go dashboard with the swing away steering wheel.

Edit - found it in the normal classic cars listing..... looks very nice and affordable too, still too long for the bloody garage though
Also - that white '64 Pontiac Grand Prix is back on ebay with another £4k added to the asking price....

So true, and it perplexes the hell out of me as well. I can only presume they don't own any mirrors at home?

As for last nights pub fight smack in the mouth look from the collagen injections in the lips - I think its all about the girls 'dressing' for other girls - to be like all the other dreadful looking females. Yes the girls look in the mirror (but generally use the 'selfie' function on their phones) - but they'll only ever see a face forward view - not the essential side view which has the prerequisite Donald or Daffy Duck on steriods clone look. Haven't even touched on (probably not the right word) on the use of silcon knockers..............!
Blokes do it too now don't they - (I mean, dressing for other blokes) so pumping iron, extreme sunlamp usage, collagen injections and putting themselves up for what appears to be a national tattoo competition (or who can manage to use up all of the tattooist's ink supplies and cover every millimetre of 'naked' skin) - do I sound sceptical? I just wouldn't want to be a young 'swordsman'.
