newsatten------- l expect you have seen it already, 74 T/A manual, not what you want but close,
Seem's to cheap unless photo's are hiding something, Just thinking you won't have to sacrifice your R/T to buy it,
Have a bit of fun and move it on if not for you and you still got the R/T,
Had a busy week by my standards anyway, at last got the overdrive out of the MK 2, now got to investigate what the problem is
and serviced and mot'd the MX5, forgot what a great little car it is around my local lanes, being L.H.D we took down to Spain 3 times,,
never missed a beat, Can't remember if i said it's U.S.A spec and trying to find out if we can import it into Canada when my daughter
goes back.
Yeah just had a look, not my thing, the wraparound rear glass and huge bumper just ruin the shape of the car, Seem's to cheap unless photo's are hiding something, Just thinking you won't have to sacrifice your R/T to buy it,

Perhaps not the best year for a Torino (which is really a Fairlane with a new name) - I know some will say "but its a vert - its got an 'economical' 289" - me? - prefer a 70 or 71 coupe
Seen this on Collecting Cars - very left field but so classy
That's my favourite year Torino, not keen on the Starsky & Hutch shape, bought the Clint Eastwood Torino DVDSeen this on Collecting Cars - very left field but so classy

for £3 ,love it in the green, "Classic American" mag did a article on a similar car last mouth, another one for the list,
Never owned a Studebaker, always fancied a 57/58/59 Golden Hawk, another one for the list

And I still think you are underpricing it way too much, its a genuine £40k car in todays mad market, so I would would have priced it at least at £42.5k, which indicates you'd take 40k for it....
You doing yourself out of possibly 8-10k IMHO.
Yep your right, already had a very strange email asking for those particular pics!
i say strange, no please or thankyou? i suppose its indicative of general lack of manners these days..........................................
Il be honest , my bums already starting to wobble, out and about most of yesterday, the old girl dont miss a beat, and finally sorted my catch tank issue
Another job jobbed.............................................................

If I were to be picky......I think you should have posted one photo of the interior, and one of the engine bay....

Sorry to put my two pennies worth in but aeropilot could have a point,a nice but not that special 69 Mach 1 sold yesterday And I still think you are underpricing it way too much, its a genuine £40k car in todays mad market, so I would would have priced it at least at £42.5k, which indicates you'd take 40k for it....

at the Classic Car Auction for £42K+; could edit and add photo's before to many people see the ad or just stick with your gut feeling
and be firm with your price. It's so confusing these days to know how to price something right ,to much and it will just sit there ,to little
and you cheat yourself out of the real value of the car, you've only got one R/T so have to make it count especially as it's going to fund
another rare hard to find car.
PS------- You will get loads of E-mails especially on a cloudy Sunday morning, asking for more photo's of parts of
the car you can't get at plus your big toe lucky you got the build history.
The real buyers will call you

The 71 blue 454 C3 sold yesterday at "The Classic Car Auction " at the London Classic Car Show for £35,631 including commission,
Looks a bargain compared to the 68 silver 427 C3 that sold for a strong £52,072 at Historics back in April,
That car is now on "Car & Classics" for £69,500, no wonder there's some confusion exactly what your classic is really worth
these days, There was a saying that something is only worth what someone is willing to pay for it but i'm not so sure if that counts
these days, Will it last or not, just ordered my crystal ball from Amazon this morning.

I always do 2 ads, one in each category, i like car and classic, reasonable success on there over the years selling stuff, Put the RT on C&C but didnt tick Americans! so its in classic's , good grief could'nt even get that right !
The 'new' owner of that blue C3 has just come on the the CCCUK forum and initially introduced himself stating that he knows nothing about Corvettes and needs to join a club. He's fortunate - didn't seemingly pay too much for the car - so many have bought in-to a specific 'marque' without doing the essential research and either paid too much, bought a turd (or both)

Sometimes buying on impulse you can have a result equally can be a financial suicide,Would have thought the 454 should be worth more not less than a 427,but maybe not matching numbers or not as good as it looks
in the photo's ,haven't read the write up properly.Nice to see it going to someone who's going to use and enjoy it and not see it
advertised next week for double money,or will we ??

Ref your Goodwood day out - that Lambo 400GT must have been quite a sight, me and a mate went to the Bicester Scramble back in 2019 and saw an earlier one in dark blue with a tan interior, it just looked so glamourous and is the oldest Lambo in the UK. Also there that day was a beautiful bronze coloured Iso Grifo and a yellow Ferrari 250SWB, but my heart belonged to the 400GT
Took the Maser out to get some petrol this morning and passed a C4 Corvette and a 'rat look' yanky van, not sure if it was a Ford or a Chevy but it stood out like the proverbial sore thumb.
Edit - Macca's Lambo 400GT used to be metallic red and features in Andrew Morland's book 'Lamborghini - Supreme amongst Exotics'. Several of the photos on the book were taken at Goodwood when things appeared to be much more casual there than it is today.

I do wonder if people some how feel safer when they buy via a auction type house? its almost "well it musty be ok if they are selling it !! " attitude?
just a thought, plus it cuts out having the thing inspected bah bah.............................................................
as for editing the add , cant see theres any point? one can see its a tidy car, and if anyone was actually interested they would call for more details, would they not?
However i'l put a couple up,
i'l give it a few days and then forget the idea, theres stuff id like to do with the Dodge, so i'l just carry on with thoses, as ive said before my quest for the a TA has left me disappointed , out of pocket, wasted loads of my time, in general its been a bloody nightmare
I did'nt have the deal on the Desert Tech and other bang sticks due to wanting to keep as much cash handy as i could rake up, seriously starting think this is folly

What with tidying up after the builders left, working on cars and now the sun has done it's usual disappearing act so beach has been cancelled
i 've realized that i haven't used my cars hardly at all spending most of this summer in my faithful daily Lexus, This started me thinking that
when i replace the next classic car i sell should i buy another one that will probably just sit there like the others,
With the horrific traffic conditions down here on the coast it's not going to get any better what with the schools breaking up soon
and people staying put in the UK for their holidays so can see me spending even more time in the daily and although i love
the practicability of it it's getting a little boring, So been thinking ,i got a hankering for a late Bullitt ,
When the second batch was announced they were offering discount as they were hanging around a bit unlike the first lot that were
making a premium over list because buyers were told that they were only going to be a one year limited production in RHD ,
A few months ago there was 28 advertised on PH but now there is only around 7 with the prices now being over the previous brand new
unsold discounted ones ,
I know 3 classic yank owners who have replaced the cars for Bullitts including one who sold his 70 Mach 1 which he bought brand
new and bought it back to the UK when he retired from his job in the States. Just thought i would use it more and could even drive it to
somewhere like Cornwall for weekends away without the fear of breakdowns and getting stolen,
Has anyone else had similar thoughts or is it just me getting older,
Then i look at the 68 manual 440 6 pack Charger going on "Collecting Cars" soon and what i just said goes completely
out the window.

Totally!!!! something modern would get some proper use, crossed my mind all the time, and yeah the 440 Charger, yep fab in theory , but eye watering consumption, stuck in traffic getting all hot, old car all bang and crash a tad, bah bah, soooooo glad its not just me i never know whether im on my arse or my elbows
