I imagine it's fairly awesome, but I'd still prefer a Lingenfelter Z06.

I'm guessing it employs the same rollover protecton system that some european convertibles, notably BMWs use, whereby in the event of a rollover, roll bars are deployed by explosives from just behind the seats.

Obviously the lack of a windscreen surround will mean it's still not as safe as most convertibles but I doubt it's quite as lethal as it first appears!

So the Z06 in the US is $45,000, and the conversion is $45,000.

So you could have an 800bhp twin turbo Z06 for £45,000? Mental!
