Crown Victoria P71
Discussion
Update: I bought a 2005 P71 for $5K and it's probably one of the best 'fit for purpose' cars I've ever owned:-
Shrugs off wrecked road surfaces
Has a trunk big enough to fit in 2 'whack jobs' at once
Has a spotlight I can use to illuminate the area around my garage to make sure there are no stab crazed crack heads lurking in the area
Burns up cheap gas at a reassuringly fast rate
Makes a whizzy fizzing induction noise when you boot it
Can be parked anywhere without fear
Amusement factor when other road users falsely believe you're a member of the law enforcement community and dive out of your way/brake hard/freak out/jettison their stash.
Can't recommend them highly enough when used in the environment they were designed for
