Hi,
I have been searching and searching on here for ages trying to find a garage to service my Camaro SS (2000), but without any luck!

I am actually looking for one specific garage -- but I can not for the life of me remember its name. It is well known as a really good garage and does work on gt40s, vipers corvettes etc. I believe the guy who runs the shop did a lot of sva work or similiar for a lot of the gt40s. The garage is in south England - does anybody have any clue what the name of this garage is?

Cheers,

Hi,

Cheers for the replies - Ian Goss was it!

I'll have a look at the website and also at Newport Imports.

Thanks smile

Why spend loads on a service?

Any good mechanic can service on of these, all it needs is fluid and filter changes for the most part and a once over. Its easy to do yourself let alone paying a fortune for an "expert" to do it. You don't even need any special tools the German car makers love to use.
My post may have been slightly misleading, I am actually looking to have my clutch replaced and possibly a new differential put in, so it is not something I can do myself and I want a mechanic who has knowledge of our vehicles. I do my own oil filter changes etc and also basic suspension stuff like installing new shocks and springs, but for clutch and diff, I just dont feel comfortable.

If the service of the shop is good when the clutch is done, I'll have additional engine work done also, assuming the shop is set up to do head and cam upgrades etc.

Cheers
